A neolith — the first tool.
The mark is a neolith: the carved stone tool whose arrival signalled the dawn of civilisation as we know it. Neolith is that tool for the next era — the implement an AI-born company is built and run with. Use it in a single ink colour with clearspace; never recolour, stretch, or add effects.
Near-neutral, one moss signal.

Not another AI tool. A new category.
Most AI products are a feature bolted onto a workflow built for people — a copilot in a side panel, a chatbot in a corner. Neolith is the opposite: the company itself runs inside the product, and AI colleagues are first-class members of the workforce, not an assistant beside it. We call the category the company operating system.
AI in a side panel
A tool a human opens, prompts, and copies out of. It helps in flashes, but it is owned by no one, attributable to nothing, and lives outside how the company actually runs. Add ten of them and you have ten more tabs.
The company runs in the product
Every colleague — human or AI — holds a seat, a charter, and a place on one audit spine. You set direction, watch a fleet execute it, and reach in only where judgment is required. The org isn’t drawn; it runs.
- Constitution slow truth
What the company believes and the rules each colleague is compiled against — authored in Genesis, versioned in the Codex.
- Work fast execution
Conversations, decisions and boards in Spaces — watched at three altitudes, every act on the spine.
- Substrate the runtime
The Fleet of machines each colleague runs on, the design system, and the integrations — compute is payroll.

Founder, Neolith · CEO, Adaptic.ai
Mehran Granfar is the founder of Neolith and the founder and CEO of Adaptic.ai. He is building the operating surface for AI-born companies — a single product where a small number of people set direction and a fleet of AI colleagues carries the execution.
His thesis is blunt: when AI does the generating, moving and deciding, a company stops being an org chart of people and becomes a system that runs — and the scarce resource shifts from labour to judgment. Neolith is the surface he believes that new kind of company will be run on, with every act attributable, reversible, and bounded by a charter. It is an adaptic.ai company, currently in private beta.
“For two centuries, scale meant headcount. That equation is broken. The companies built from AI are already pulling away — and they need somewhere to actually run.”

About Neolith, in one paragraph.
Neolith is the operating surface for AI-born companies — one product where humans and AI colleagues work as a single workforce. Founders and teams use Neolith to set their company’s direction, watch a fleet of AI colleagues execute it, and stay in command through scoped charters, an auditable decision spine, and compute-as-payroll economics. Neolith is an adaptic.ai company and is in private beta.
